Yes knight a terrible loss, not only do i have dating memories, but
we use to take our children to the drive in, we use to go early to play with them on the playground, then go back to the car with a cooler full of food and soda and settle in for a all night session of movies. Sometimes falling asleep and having to be woke up to go home.

I have many, many happy memories.....and teen drama memories....from drive-in's.....and, yes, I have thought about how my granddaughter's won't have the same dating experience I had....even my daughter didn't....and nothing will ever convince me they won't be missing out on some real magic.

I think this is one of the sad offshoots of progress. I loved the drive-in as a kid. We have one left in our area and I go at least once a year because, like yours it will be a relic of the past before I know it! sam
