Answering everyone at once--The layers indeed are deep and convoluted...

If you were to go searching for that poem among the pages of this blog, you'd see some of my layers that are part of the story--neither masochist nor saint, but I daresay, elements of those are stirred into the mix...  I try to be kind, to be fair, to be compassionate... I was raised to tolerate the intolerable, and very uncertain of boundaries, and whether I am allowed any;  I have, in fact, discovered that I am entitled to some, and learned to insist that they be respected.  Layers in that process, too...

Well, finally, after working through all this, I am here to tell you, in this rambling 2:30 in the morning way, that the poem isn't here, was in the poems blog I discontinued a while back...  So I went and found it elsewhere, and will present it as a post of its own.

What a totally amazing story! There must be more to this, much more, or else you are a saint or a masochist! But you did say there is more! Will you do me a favor and post the link to that poem, which I obviously missed? It is late, too late for me to go digging for it now...I'll look for it tomorrow...
