SEEDLINGS, the flag always gets my attention......
Both my husband, myself, and our son served in the military. Hubby and Son both retired. My son served in Iraq, I knew he was doing the right thing, but I nearly went crazy till he got home again. We have to fight for our freedom and make sacrifices. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but it's something our men have always done and now both our men and women feel they must do. It's the right thing to do. May God be with these parents who have lost their son, but he boy knew what he must do, and did.

This is a beautiful post. My son recently retired from the army and I am proud of him and his devotion to our country. Each day I wondered if he would be the next one for whom the Bell Tolled. God Bless the soldier you speak of and all the brave men and woman in harms way.

My son is a soldier and very young. My heart goes out to this family. I live in fear that his decision could result in this young man's fate. May the Lord keep him close. sam
