On the contrary, Mysteria, I believe the world is just fine as it is! "Variety is the 'spice' of life!" In April of this year, I will be 66 years of age, and in that time, I have already climbed most of the "mountains" I chose to attempt to scale. I only wish now to be free to "sing my own song" and to express my opinions freely. If you, or any other, for that matter, chosses to attribute ulteria motives to my opinions, then I can only repeat the famous quote of Rhett Butler in GONE WITH THE WIND: "Frankly, my Dear, I don't give a damn!"

I think the world was designed by a much wiser Person than I, and that it is proceeding exactly as He planned. I wish only to understand it. That's all!!

Intelligent Design is

definitely the most logical explanation of origins. Scientist have duplicated the process of basic protein formation in ocean water under very controlled conditions. The need for an exact set of circumstances for these proteins to form screams for the necessity for a source of intelligence steering the process.

Yes, Taps, and I agree with you. I simply believe that, especially as Science contines in its current trend to explore "the Spiritual," or "Higher Power," alternatives, such as Intelligent Design, the number of new atheists will become less and less attractive to a smaller and smaller group, especially to those who wish others to believe that they, themselves, are so logical.

This (by the droves) most definitely, will not, in my opinion, happen at all!!

The hardshell so-called athiests will not do so til the bitter end, and this, not because of "mind-set," but, rather, because of "heart-set."
