And that, Azur, is the difference between writers, and the rest of the world. Instead of seeking oblivion, writers will face the world, recording experiences for later use--I bet some of the best stories were started in much the same way, through druggy hazes, in the middle of the strangest of circumstances!

It was a relief to see them treating sis so casually--if they'd been in a hurry, we would have known it was serious. That being said, sitting in a hospital for that long isn't my idea of a good time!

Re: Oh wow!!!

Hi Ginnie,

The whole experience was one big calamity of errors! Dani still isn't laughing, but we're confident that she'll see the humor eventually!

Re:

Hi sam,

Yeah, the wait times in our hospitals are usually bad, but that's certainly the worst I'd ever heard of!

A woman did a runner
in the hospital bed next to mine last week but the nurses packed up her stuff and reassigned

the bed, as there were people in the corridor. In a morphine haze I fought sleep as I

gathered fodder for stories. Your mother did right to take your sister to hospital. In a

strange sort of way, the length of wait for the ultrasound is a good sign, that it was not too

serious, unless of course the hospital is on its knees.

Oh wow!!!
That's quite a story!!!  Imagine them not locking the door!  Glad your sister is okay but what a long wait...crazy!!!

I had never heard of anyone having to wait that long. Especially when an ultra sound is so important to the diagnosis. The extracurricular activity was a hoot!  sam
