Though "time-tripper" is probably not original. I've been around long enough and read widely enough to have picked it up somewhere. This seems to be the case with most of my original ideas -- I usually discover they were inspired by someone else. I think this may be true with many writers. Often originality is not so much coming up with something new, but rather what is done with old themes and ideas.

Another angle is what I believe I've done. It's where my new Fiction post came from. I'll probably play with it for a little before setting it aside again.

Good advice, sam
It is sort of what I've been doing. Today I decided to run with it a little. That's how I came up with my first Fiction post in a long while. After toying with it a bit I'll probably set it aside till I can't ignore it again.

When I run into a problem with an idea, I set it aside and work on it later, sometimes much later. It is an idea so hold onto it! sam
