I pick up coins wherever I see them. The other day I saw something glitter at the bottom of the pool where I go swimming regularly - I dove down and found a quarter! Fantastic! It always pleases me no end - a residue from my childhood where I somehow learned to believe that finding a coin 'brought good luck'...

I hace always picked up coins. My regrets are that I didn't keep it or keep track of the amount. If there is a penny laying about it is quickly in my pocket! sam

It might have something to do with the fact that coins are worth nothing in
USA. You can't buy anything with coins. DOn't forget, they do not have 1$ and 2$ in coins. It also have to do with the area you were in. Was it a rich area? Middleclass? All WASP?
As for your English, it's fine. A few funny mistakes, but that just makes it more interesting!Tschüs.
