That was an excellent comment!  I agree,  let them debate for real!   Answer unfiltered questions from the electorate....

hey corbin
Thank you Corbin for finding the quote..... A Ted Kennedy endorsement is the kiss of death for any candidate.... he is not either one of his brothers.... But let's not forget that three of Robert Kennedy's children came out and endorsed Hillary on the same day and the media mentioned in for 2 and one half seconds.  And do we really care about these endorsements... do these celebrities think we cannot make up our own minds?  I can't stand the hype... no substance...

I am open to any candidate... but speeches are written with speech writers, and carefully crafted and memorized to capture the attention of our brain-dead reality TV society... Complaining about being criticized is a turn off....instead EXPLAIN one's record and Defend one's position with facts or step up to the plate and ADMIT a mistake.... and move on....

Our media has poisoned minds, people don't read anymore and they believe everything they are spoon fed by spin doctors..... COLD HARD FACTS.... statistics, resumes...etc.

When we apply for a job, we must supply a detailed resume of our experience, answer questions to our future employer and supply references that they WILL call to verify.  Complaining about being called out on our record means one thing:  unemployment
Our candidates are applying for the most important job of the nation: President....
All questions on one's working records are fair game....

The Camelot comparison is a bit much, I agree. But Obama is
inspirational, much as was Kennedy.  I, too, have a few problems with his platform and he's damned sure more likeable than Hillary, Romney, and Giuliani.  Regardless, it doesn't look as if he'll win the nomination and we all know that if Hillary gets the nod, there will be another Republican in the White House in 2009.  She's the best candidate the Republicans have...

Hey man you are back this is excellent. Wonder what position Farakhan (can't spell it) would play. Oh my God what a disaster this is going to be. Get back in here up to your elbows writing political posts.

I have to admit, once again, that I am not a political savoy person, however I was caught off guard with Ted kennedy and his son standing up to endorse Obama. I just didn't get it, still don't. I don't get the whole public endorsement thing with Oprah and Obama, and Chuck Norris and Huckabee. Can we not make our own choices based on our own research. Do we have to have glitter and fame like Oprah and Chuck Norris and Ted to get us to think?

Old Teddy (who still can't remember what he did with Mary Jo...other than to let her die) endorsing anyone should be a wake up call that we should listen to... NEVER vote for no one TED endorses! Even comparing Obama and JFK is an insult to every American...

There is a deep irony in seeing a man mired in a sleazy past embrace a prophet of 'change'...

Corbin,
even if your political convictions are 180 degrees apart from mine (and yes, I do support the woman everyone loves to hate), you speak no less than the truth. It has nothing to do with my being a Hillary supporter, but it's merely a cold, hard look at the facts: JFK was well-traveled, had impeccable social saavy, was quick-witted, and more importantly, served his country by risking his life in WW II. One can argue and say that Hillary doesn't have any of those skills, either, but I'm tired of this constant Camelot rehashing. That is now crystalized in time. Let's leave it as it is.

Corbin Dallas,
"There you go again"! See my last comment to your attempt to make this a "fear thing"! In case you didn't: You have again done great research to bring your writing to the attention of those who read and respect you! But I think you are missing the point! George Bush and Tony Blair did this Planet a great mis-service! It will take more than "word change" to reverse the harm! Using Neville Chamberlain was brilliant on your part, however I do not recall a single Muslim led nation plotting or supporting the destruction of either the Trade Center or America??

There are fringe elements that contort the teachings of all organized Religions (see the public record)! You are beginning to sound dangerous in your own way here! The British government is beginning a long delayed and welcomed process.

Saddam Hussein = The Union of the Soviet Socialist Republic?? You folk will get your way in some quarters, but not here!
