Corbin Dallas,

You are again first and at the same time way off in your assessment! Bill Clinton is just a pawn in the "real" game! And he is too stupid to realize that he and his pathetic wife are not going back to the White House! Playing the "Race" game is long and entrenched in American Politics! (see Willie Horton). Or if you want to back to "reconstruction" see "Birth of a Nation"! Or even further see The Constitution of the United States of America.

Sen. Obama's support is solid in the voters who are drawn to his personality and message. It is the "ethnic and easily swayed" vote that will doom his campaign! Before this is over every stereotype and racist innuendo will be dredged up and in play! Welfare, chicken and watermelon eating, White House will slowly work its way into the message against Sen. Obama!

This is not new, the Negro has been fodder for democracy and gotten used to it. I have my barf bag handy and I do hope Senator Obama has a strong stomach!

I've been thinking that candidates shouldn't appear on TV
That way we wouldn't know what color they were. Of course we would also have to keep pictures of the candidates out of magazines and newspapers and keep reporters from bringing up race.

I think your assessment it dead-on! Once the race card was played, I don't think Obama can win, and Hillary will do much better soon. But not only was it a Pyrrhic victory for Obama, the way it was achieved will also open old wounds, and will harm the country as a whole.

If Hillary does win the nomination, the other card that's important for her is the gender card. But there's one card she holds that she won't be able to get rid of,  which might cause her to lose the game in the end: it's the Bubba card!
