Re: Oh my, I can't take hot. But I feel you on that bill!

Temple, so glad to hear from you, knowing that you are well and bed bug less.....beagles rule in the sniffing insects dept. Used for termites here in AZ.

I rescued a neighbor's doggie this a.m. and that was my good deed for the day...best to you. Thanks for the long comment.

Re: Abuelita

jemmie, they can't sleep on my bed anymore as I am truly and completely allergic to them now. Sigh....It is very difficult to sleep with them in the other room, I miss their warmth in bed, but cannot do it anymore, the sinus headaches last all day, every day, if I do.

But, I am sleeping better and that is the good news for this old woman....thanks for reading and writing to me.

Oh my, I can't take hot. But I feel you on that bill!
For no reason, our usage went DOWN, we have outrageous bills.  The electric bill couldn't tell us why ... but then we got behind they made us pay a deposit and all our money went to that, so now we are waaaaaaay behind ... ramen soup didn't help!  :(  I think it's that oil is like, what, $100 a barrel (the highest ever) and we have El Diablo in the White House.   That's just me. You can always visit me!  It only occasionally gets below 48 here. Bring the doggies and we'll have a camp fire on the beach!  Oh, you would have loved this.  I guess bed bugs had pretty much been eradicated in the U.S., but in Asia, some places in Europe, and the Middle East they have come back (laying eggs in the luggage, ew!). SO, we have lots of Marines and other folks from that part of the world that live here in our complex due to a business or ten around here.  They are finding epidemics of bed bugs all over the country now, so when they found them in one apartment on one of the properties that is part of our little group, they brought out the bed bug sniffing DOGS!  Oh my gosh, I open the door and there's a dog that is a beagle I think just smiling at me -- poor man couldn't do his job.  We don't have them, thank goodness, and I almost didn't let the guy leave with his puppy!  Maybe they'll hire me ... lol ... sooo cute!  He saw my kitties in their kennels on the balcony and was like ... heeeeyyyy, let's play!  But, alas, he had to work.  I was going to take his picture, but I didn't want to seem too weird.  I think of you so often!  I'm glad to hear something from you (like I'm much better, I know ... I have posted in my other blogs besides Gidget, but Gidget seems to take so much from me right now). xoxoxo

Abuelita
Hunny, if you're sick, who will take care of the warm doggies?  At least let them sleep on your bed to keep you warm!

Again, I ask you to take care of yourself!  I love you and can't imagine life without you!  Stay healthy!

sam, it gets better in Spring, which lasts about three days, then HOT
summer comes and I am in heaven again. I like this city when the asphalt melts....and crosswalks' lines swerve as cars drive over them. Yummy.
