I liked it the first time, and I like it even more now. I still don't know where my eyes want to come to rest, which is unusual, because normally, when I look at a painting, I do 'end up' somewhere. Right now I am looking at a landscape over my desk, and I know exactly where my eyes come to rest.

Here, when I am at the 'ain', I am always drawn back to what I call the 'plain' in the direction of the upper right, 'escaping' through the 'opening' of the ain...

I find that tension very interesting, it's almost like moving from 'action' to stillness', from 'seeing' to 'feeling', if that makes sense...

By the way, I do not like the idea of adding pencil scribbles! This piece doesn't need more 'depth'. I think it would distract from what is there now...

His suggestion of the pencil scribbles makes me want to see one of your works with this incorporated into it.   I'm glad that he gave a positive review for I already liked this a lot.

Good morning Lindo: First I enjoy your art and your writing. The thing that I have learned is we are sinners and will always sin. The key is to do what you are doing, nothing serious, just being a mortal. One key phrase by Jesus; ONLY BELIEVE! Pick up the Bible and start with the Psalms. Read for understanding and enhancement of your writing.  Tell Him once a day you love Him, then start listening. I don't always hear Him, but have enough of a relationship to know that a person, place or idea is going to get me in the direction He wants me to go. He knows everything  you need and want, just remember He wants to talk to you about them. The more you talk the easier it becomes and never forget to give thanks for your blessings. Who knows maybe our Father is using me to help you and as a sinning child of God it is proof for me that we are here to help each other. I am convinced you love our Father and can commune with Him to realize your full potential.  sam
