Ann
We can, but we don't like to! Our creative impulse drives us beyond the merely utilitarian and forces us to imaginatively explore the outer reaches of the culinary universe...

Re: It looks delicious, goose liver i have never had, what is the red thing?
The meat is fillet of beef (very tender if you do not overcook). The sauce is just plain butter in which you fry the meat. The red thing is a fried tomato (fried in the fat after the meat is cooked). It was delicious, but then I've also consumed half my self-imposed ration of red meat for the month. The goose lliver ... sssshhh ... not so loud .... otherwise the animal activists will be at your throat.

Re: And what is the yellow thing off to the side of the red thing?
It's a potato boiled in dill-flavoured water.
