- Go to Delusions Of Grandeur Can Help Make A President; It Worked For Bush
Oh, he's average all right. Just look at everything he's ever done. The
only thing he's ever excelled at is cheerleading and drunken debauchery. The United States really rose to its own level of mediocrity by electing that used car salesman to office. And another thing, thepoetbubbagirl, take a look at his leadership skills since he's been in office. His policies and appointments have all ended in corruption, scandal, controversy, hyprocrisy, ill-advised wars, and national division. You may be right, on second thought. He is above average. In a pool of the worst presidents ever to hold office, he rises above the rest.

i wouldn't call
the son of a former president "average"
I also don't believe someone of average intelligence could become the leader of the free world. Too many aspects of the job to juggle..

I was in Arkansas when he was in office. He acted as if he had carte blanch over everything. And, yes, stories galore. He maintained that he had never been "unfaithful" to Hillary because oral sex, was not sex, and he used to point to it in the bible as validation. joab

Re: Saul Relative,
You know something, Glennb, I feel very sorry for you. The world -- I have news for you -- will not change unless you change it and not simply gripe. We all do the best we can; we take what comes; and we make it work. Mediocrity is far more a success story than the failure of Jimmy Carter's term, and the sullen, sour, old man he has become since -- Nobel Piss Prize notwithstanding. He sucked. joab

I try to always spell it with a lowercase 'p', Glennb. But you have a
point. And I don't think it's going to be much different this go around either...

Excellent, joab. And possibly more true than we know, given some of

Saul Relative,
I do not understand why you keep calling the present occupier of my White House, "President"? This man has put more effort in destroying America than any before him! Why do you think America is still the best of a sorry lot? Because we tolerate the status-quo and mediocre until change is less painful.

For Saul
For Saul
HILL AND BILL AND CAPITOL HILL
Hil and Bill went to Capitol Hill to fetch a grab for power,
but Bill slipped into an intern's room which made Hil very dower.
When he explained that he was checking for "bugs" and did it for her protection,
She said "crap on that", you did it because you always have a perminent
erection. joab

Isn't this a sad scenario that people are elected on delusions?
Guess there must be something that can be done about it - to change things I mean?

Delusions Of Grandeur Can Help Make A President
How do you think many of the so-called "entertainment" figures got their fame? Delusions work best on the disillusioned and our current electorate are very much the latter. joab
