We have a lot of creative writers around here and you are definitely one of them.  I'm sure that .dave. will love it.  I think that someone is still sending him the posts that are about him in some way.  Great fun you gave us here!

LOL
It's priceless! I'm sure .Dave would gave you at least 100 points in the jackdaw game for a poem like that!

anyhow - it's way (way) past the witching hour (what is the witching hour?
I'll have to check that!) - I don't know what I'll post tomorrow, but perhaps we'll catch up again then - ciao for now

Good point. Like you said below, the whole situation has sparked some
good poetry.  I am NOT going to say .Dave would have wanted it that way, because he's not dead, for fACK's sake.  Sorry, I've been hearing that a lot lately.  He can see the comments, just not posts.

Yes, I just wrote while you were gone, and no, I can't get the dancer to
rotate the other way either.  I thought it was my eyes, maybe it's a neurological thing like Mysteria said. I'm definitely right-brained, free-associative, intuitive dominant, although like you said the other day I can be left-brained when I need to.

Re: Maelstrom - wow did u just write this
- i've just come back from mysteria - yes i like it - good recommend, thanx - but i got hypnotised by the turning dancer - i can't believe it rotates different ways for different people - there was no way i could get it going the other way, or even close - is there some trick that i'm not noticing?

posted by chrisja on November 3, 2007 at 5:26 PM | link to this | reply

Maelstrom of discontent", I like that.
The maelstrom of discontent
a whirling, swirliing vortex
of disharmony, disenchantment
disillusionment, disdain, and
dare I say it?
disgust
although seeming lightless
a black hole
grasping light
from which nothing
emits or returns
somewhere in the abyss
someone watches

Ok i posted it - off it goes into the maelstrom of discontent

And when you get back, here's a blog you might enjoy

Try surfboarding over this. It's in journal. It's Mysteria's blog, little shorts with a little science , pictures, conundrums, light but with substance

i read the vogue post - thanx - yes it is a good read - it keeps momentum
- i wish my problems were that easily solved
- i'll go across to the town hall and post my thing - thanx

Um,I haven't been getting too deeply into the archives, just staying in
comments and new posts, socializing mostly.

posted by Zena77 on November 3, 2007 at 4:28 PM | link to this | reply

I think it's now in the Town Hall section, which, although I've read that some posts and comments are being deleted, seems to be the spot people are posting their letters of appeal, etc.  to Blogit about .Dave.

You'll find it on the Home page in the upper right hand corner, go to Community, and then look for Town Hall.  Thanks for doing that.  I don't want to act like the "voice of Dave" or anything, but he's aware and appreciates the support.

actually - it is quite late here so i want things that are a bit different
that i can snowboard across quite easily - i like it when there's a bit experimentation and individuality

Here's a story by Vogue that I liked.  It's a little long, but I think it's worth it.

also - i have a question
i've penned something that i want to have added to the stuff people have sent the blog owners requesting that they reverse their decision - you or someone listed somewhere where these could be sent - can you tell me?

posted by chrisja on November 3, 2007 at 4:23 PM | link to this | reply

I was just over in fiction, let me look again, do you want links?

Hey, who you calling a piece of work? LOL.
It is inspired, isn't it?  I told him this morning that if there's an ACKers hall of fame, he's in it for sure.  This should go into the annals of ACKerdom, for posterity.

i had to put the brakes on this one, it was carrying me away, there's other stuff i wanted to round it off with playing with 'syntACKtical quACKery for the almanACK of my non-ACKtual yACKery' - perhaps i'll finish it later - or never

Sackerdotally is my favorite.  Good to make poetry out of aggravation, isn't it?
