Perfect expression on an impossible subject, Tony!...:)

Nothing more corrupting than power over the masses, methinks.

Politics, what a subject. To me the problem is you will never or it will be hard to get a politician/s with the true qualities that are needed to lead, there for the people, for society not themselves. Not the usual who enjoy playing immature games, having immature squabbles. The picture in your post was a scream. Cool

They may have moved like a "wet earthworm" and whether we like them or not, one thing's for sure - they'll continue to be our political masters.

Politics and politicians - already commented this morning somewhere else. Something to the effect that a lack of common sense is mandatory for the job description. AmMused

And the alternative is????????
oh yes; there isn't one! Talk about no win situations - whether we believe them or not (and I most certainly do not) we are apparently stuck with them for the foreseeable future

Thanks guys and gals.
Believe it or not, I wrote the poem first, and then found the picture after completing it! What an amazing fit.

Well done Tony! Politics is certainly a messy business these days!
I suppose really-it always has been? No one listens to us anyway! Chris.

Hmm
Very thoughtful, the first two lines really struck me the most and really made me stop and think for a moment about politics, politicans, and how I view both. Thanks for sharing this.
