I have been drug free for like a month now. I still take xanax VERY once in a while.

I'm so glad you were able to get off the meds!!!!!  They're so bad for us... I'm going on 3 1/2 weeks drug free for the first time in YEARS.  I was on 4 different ones...

It's hard isn't it, though, not letting the past affect us. It's like eating a dozen donuts and then trying to prevent the stomach ache.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I definitely don't regret not having babies with him. They would have probably turned out like him. LOL

Well I went back and started at the beginning - this has the makings of a novel, especially with most characters' heads being either in the clouds or into the sauce...

Yeah, it really is important to always try to look on the brightside (for both one's mental and physical well-being).

Though it certainly is difficult sometimes.

Also, equally important, is to stay primarily focused on the future, rather than dwell too much on the past.

Whenever I need to "get away'',
I just get away in my mind.
I go to my imaginary spot,
where the beach is perfect,
and the water is perfect,
and the weather is perfect.
The only bad thing there are the flies.
They're terrible!

People are never uphill or downhill ALL the time. Stay postive.

You are young and have years ahead for a family.  Don't regret that one.  All the best
