Are you saying that one writes because they are insane or that they are insane because they write? Glad you are back. I have certainly found it to be true that one cannot force inspiration.

MS - There's a fine line between creativity and insanity. If you look back
at some of the truly, 'greats', it's quite apparent. Van Gogh, Mozart to name a couple.

I enjoyed reading your 'about me,' page.
You are an inspiration. I've always wanted to write children's stories, but everything that I have had published, was published for adults. It is nice to have you back.

I agree with you...and I do believe that it is important to walk in the shoes of another. I was only repeating what the studies say. I do, however, believe as Storr does that some of the most talented writers the world over are filled with "complexity, incompleteness, individuality, impulsiveness and expansiveness."
I am back on Blogit after a very long time away. I have lots of reading to catch up on. I'll be visiting you soon. Thanks for sharing.

All writers are not mentally ill, people have a tendency to think that
artists are mentally off......"SOME ONE CALLED ME AND LABEL ME AS A SEVERLY MENTALLY IMPAIRED PERSON...." some times when people are not on same page won't understand what you are on.......Wear the shoes of other person before label them as SICK: SPECIALLY MENTALLY SICK......"
