SurvivorMom, that is very true. Mrs. Rainbolt was liked by most of the students; it just took me a while to realize that she was a good teacher as well.

Our superintendent at that school was also the disciplinarian, but he was also a fun loving person, and all the students respected him and still do to this day.

Great story!

When teachers appreciate and respect their students, they get a lot more respect than the "pinched-faced" ones!

hazel_st_cricket Thanks for commenting. Yeah Mrs. Rainbolt was a pretty neat teacher. To bad I didn't realize it to begin with. Maybe I wouldn't have had to repeat the class if I had.
