I don't think Clinton should've given those pardons either.  Whatever sentence is handed down by the court is what I agree with.  Libby should be allowed to appeal but not have his original sentence commuted or pardoned.  CIA agents identities should be protected under all circumstances.  No CIA agent should have to change intelligence to suit the current foreign policy aspirations of the president.

Since it is an major portion of the powers given the executive in the Consititution...my answer would be.......no way.

I find you description of the case against Libby.... a bit melodramatic. 

Do you feel the same way about the Clinton pardons? You want to go through all the pardons that Clinton engaged in, 396 of them!  He was selling pardons!  Marc Rich.  How do you think the Clinton Library and was funded?  How about the 16 FALN terrorists?  These are the Puerto Rican gangs, and these guys committed real violent felonies. 

Remember Henry Cisneros. He was the secretary, he was a cabinet member, secretary of Housing and Urban Development, appointed to that position by President Clinton, and Cisneros was convicted and so forth. He got a pardon.
