I don't mean that at all. But I will stop there and not preach. I thank you for reading. Be blessed.

Re: Justi
I do believe in God but not in preaching God outside of the church and I dont think God would strike down a person because he/she had doubts about God,  if that was the case heaven and hell would be filled to the brim and then Heaven would be on earth

It is far more complicated than that. God did not whack them or strike them down. There is always the evil force and once God's hand is removed from you then you are under it. Yes he will forgive you if you ask; however, until you are born again the only forgiveness he offers is the one where he forgives all your sins when you ask him to take over your heart. After that you are to ask for daily forgiveness as we all fall short of the mark. If you ask for a specific forgiveness before you accept Jesus as your savior he does not hear you. You will find the Bible a most interesting book At one time he became so angry with His people he told Moses He could not accompany them to the Promised Land because they were so stubborn and stiff necked. He said if he did he would kill them all. He is an awesome God. He is totally just. Justice sometimes is hard. The Book of Job clarifies this much better.

These are interesting quotes but I cannot believe that these people were struck down by a God that will forgive man by 70 x 7 which was what I was  always told to interpret as infinity.  These people all had problems, enemies /other reasons that led to their demise.  Jesus/God would never harbour a grudge.  If that was the case then Christanity would be a sham.

You are so right he does say he will not be mocked; and He is 100% true to his word. He also has the patience to wait years and years before he executes his action.

You have made it clear to me that you do not blieve. Anything I say to this comment would be disagreeable so I can only say believe as you choose. I personally do no believe in any coincidences at all.

You don't owe me an apology because you don't believe. That is your choice alone and I respect that.

bandanafish.

I am not meaning to say that God strikes people dead for this or that. Yes people cross God every second. By the same token there are no coincidences, at least in my mind. God knows who will return to him and who will not; he uses many situations to reflect truth. He also makes his stance very clear on his forgiveness, if asked he will forgive anything EXCEPT blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. If one falls dead after praising the Lord I would see that as a blessing. Absence here for a believer is presence with the Lord.

I do not mean to say God is taking away lives because one does not believe in Him. However; I am happy to say I believe he gives everyone the right to make any choices and believe any way they choose. I am only stating what I found and shared. I respect yours and anyone else's belief. It is solely your choice and I have no rule in that whatsoever, nor have I any right to judge any who choose a different line than I.

Re: Frankly, I think it's all just a coincidence.
I beleive we are destined to die when our number is up, and when its time to die we go be it a heart attack or someone without his mind shooting us.

Re: LustorLove
no I am saying that there are too many hypocrites that attend church and I dont believe I have to be in church to have my thoughts about God. I am not a religious person and I dont usually talk religion of politics, as I dont listen to or study either.  I believe in God but I don't believe in born again Christians, sorry

Frankly, I think it's all just a coincidence.
Millions of people "cross" God everyday, and not to mention, freak accidents, murders, drug overdose, and all kinds of deaths happen everyday, too. There's definitely a high chance that someone, somewhere, who after uttering some blasphemy, or even of those who after praising Him, might just happen to have a heart attack, because heart attack is one of the leading causes of death. Simple as that.

My version of God does not take away lives simply because someone doesn't believe in Him (or Her).

Of course you get my bent. I am not trying to judge anyone just saying when God knows you are not coming back to him He pretty much allows you to do as you choose. We make great messes left to our own devices.

Dear you are saying as long as there are not hypocrites. That will not happen until the end of time. There will always be tares (hypocrites) mixed in among the wheat. Satan wants to tear up the church so his people will go there too.

I am not advocating preaching on the street or door to door. Nor did God make that reference to that just as you say. He asked us to make a joyful noise unto the Lord in praise. He did send out His disciples to go into all the Nations. Going to a church house does not make you a Christian. The Christians as a total body are the Church. That is the Christians who have been born again.

I understand that. It never pays to tick God off; however, he is not a God who will zap you dead either. You can bet the man who committed the mass murders will not be counted in the numbers going north. Those people's blood is on his hand.

I am not a church goer but I have my believes and preaching out on the streets or door to door, is not what God had in mind when he said make a joyful noise unto the Lord.  I will be silent with my thoughts

Not that it matters, but Lennon was shot 5 times, it's a long story - what bothered me more (in retrospect), is the fact that this "intellectual" was doing everything in his power, to get (especially young) people, to follow the teachings of Mao Zedong - the biggest mass-murderer in all of human history - estimates range from 65-100 million people!

Well Jesus suggested something like this. Those in the church or Temple already know this but those in the byways and highways don't, so go to them. If I could save one's life and did not what would think of that?
