Today is a sad day in the world.

Justi.............

I would die if I had to lose any of my children, or grandchildren.  I love them, one and all.  That is just plain sick!

Rush Limbaugh was talking about that on the radio.  I had to walk away from it.

You're a good mom, I'm a good mom - children deserve to be born and loved, cared for and nurtured.  We did it, Justi - we're doing it!

That is great. Many don't have the time or make the time. I am crazy to know what is going on outside the rags in the grocery check out. I usually get my news on the web I am getting so lazy. You bring out really good posts and points. Not the political jargon that everybody saw, but issues. This was so goo. Keep it up.

Justi.....
Thank you for your kind words.....I found the whole thing repulsive.....and as with a lot of topics......I thought it needed exposure.....

I am a news addict......I consume mass quantities....most people don't want to take the time...or are turned off.   I just like to bring some things goin' on out there in the world to those who don't take the time to find them on their own.......

Am I promoting a cause or agenda?  Hell yes!  And not ashamed to do so.   Anyone with differing views are free to do the same........take care girl!

This is such a good post. We can't change the world, but we can do exactly as you suggest, bear one another's burdens. I can only speak to the believers as to this because God calls on us to do exactly that.

I agree with that. I have not desire to down anybody on this post if they do or do not believe as I do. I am only exposing the feelings Corbin's post brought out in me.

Good points in your question. Yes I agree in contraception. For me personally I don't believe in sex outside the union of two people (man and woman) who are married. When I was a non-believer I did engage in sex outside marriage. I believe in responsible sex meaning safe sex and birth control to the inth degree if you don't want a child. Baby lives should not be the result of one romp in the hay between two people who may not even know each other's name and don't want a baby between them. !

I guess they are sympathising wwith the mothere. I am not here putting down the people who get abortions. I am simply saying celebrating it is disgusting.

posted by Justi on March 15, 2007 at 4:46 PM | link to this | reply

I guess I see abortion as a measure of last resort for people in desperate circumstances. It would be a better world if we would all help out one another. At one of the churches last night the sermon was about bearing one another's burdens.

Every child is a special gift from God, no matter how they are concieved.

Life is a celebration and truly, death is a larger one if you are a christian and know the Lord.

I agree with you.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts of on inspirational writings.

As you said something someone writes about may be inconsistent with one's beliefs - it may even offend or stir a set of emotions we didn't know we had.  But it's those kind of posts that keep the reading interesting and yes, even, inspiring.

Excellent ...Corbins post was sad, it made me sick. I can't believe there are people really doing that. How can one make a card such as that and think they are doing something good..
