As a substitute teacher I walk into a class cold.I dont know the kids,their histories their hurts,their disappointments.Some are so angry because of home situations any adult is fair game especially substitute teachers.They owe us nothing including respect.So if I leave school having connected with one kid I feel Ive made a little difference in a life.And thats our calling as humans.
