thanks everyone for leaving comments....
I picked up one grandchild and we picked up some candles and anti-war signs and stood on a busy street corner with others like us and my grandson got an education in tolerance and intolerance and had some stories to tell later.....maybe he will remember when he's older, he has forgotten so many things that we did when he was younger.
I write to Congress people and donate and buy bumper stickers and blog and that's about it....thanks for all that you may do.

Benzinha, I hope recent events are a little more hopeful.
WHen people ask what to do, tell 'em to campaign and donate time and effort and money for the candidates they want in office. Even if they don't win, it sends a message and they gain some prestige/clout.

Strong, well stated post. Thank you for the information about the jets, though I was hoping so hard, against all odds, that it wouldn't happen again, that they would be stopped, that his out of control power grab would be curbed...shuddering at the thought of all the innocents in evil's way..

I totally understand the feelings you express here. I don't know what you are doing about the situation (other than writing posts) but I know that for me, personally, I am at a loss to do anything except pray for our President and for our leaders.
