I like that smell

I like that smell

Hope you are well

(Now!)

It sounds like hell

All that coughin"!

You should be all snuggled up

With a Lemon Sip Cup

That will abate

that terrible snuffling!

Cheers

Rumored

About the peppermint oil....It seemed to help some...I didn't mix a lot of it, so I didn't use it real liberally. Peppermint essential oil is pretty inexpensive, and is worth a try. It's 3 drops to 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (I used almond oil, but you can use olive oil, etc.)
There was also a recipe at that site for breathing in a vapor steam with about 10-15 drops of peppermint oil put into so much water.

Here is one link that you can look at to get an idea of the cost, along with a few other uses for the oil. You can find many links if you search, with different volumes and prices. You may even try ebay if you can't find somewhere local to buy.

I didn't know that you had breathing problems, I hope you find something that helps.

Sunny, if it works, please let me know because the coughing
associated with my breathing problem can at times become very frustrating...thanks....

Oh, I can imagine!  There were onion recipes of some kind on that site I was looking at. (I didn't look too closely).

I love garlic, but I'm not a big fan of onions.

She always used what she had.  She learned those things from her own mother.  She always told us about my grandma saving someone from pneumonia (before the advent of antibiotics) by making chest plasters out of hot boiled onions from her garden.

Oh my gosh! Turpentine?  And mustard?  I like mustard, but um...not THAT much. LOL.
Well, she did likely have the right idea though!

So sorry that your cough is so bad.  The massaging should help, I would think.  My poor Mom was always massaging someone's chest when I was growing up.  Once, before they started inoculating against pertussis, we all had whooping cough.  I'll never forget that.  It was in the 1940's.  She made chest rub out of goose grease, liniment and turpentine.  Another time she made mustard plasters and made us lie there with these things on our chests.  We all lived so I guess she had the right idea.  I think I would like your rub better.
