Visors? Hmmm. I haven't seen that. Something like artificial sunlight? I hear that is supposed to help a lot.

That's interesting. I know I feel elated once spring comes and things keep warming up, but I don't think I've ever tried to make up for lost time. How do you do that? Trying to do too much at once?

Yes, the ice can get bad. I'm glad I don't have to drive as much as I used to.

I always feel a little bit blue in the winter. Hello, SADD.
The best way to combat it is to get out there and do things--I end up going to the gym more often in the winter. :-).

Sunny, definitely..the darkness of this time of year can easily affect me
and put me into a funk...that, and ice, are the only things I don't like about winter..

Oh, absolutely, Sunnybeach, but it's spring when I really have to watch out
It's like coming out of hibernation or something. I'm fine, sort of, all winter, introspective and in a sort of hebetude (mental lethargy, cool word I just learned from Avant-Garde), and then in the first signs of spring, Bam! I think I try to make up for lost time, or something. Not happening, there is no making up for lost time. It's gone.

Yes I think the weather does make a difference.
I don't like days where the sun stays hidden. i want to see blue skies!

sunnybeach, what are those visors with the light? Like they have in the
land of the midnight sun? I saw it on Northern Exposure.
