I think it's great. I love being able to take the kids somewhere and not
have a bunch of smokers around them. I smoke and I still think it's gross. I would think making it harder for smokers will make it easier to quit, too.

Jemmie - I went thru the same ban last year and most people followed it
within a couple of weeks. At first I didn't like it but I found the joy of stepping outside to have a cigarette...much more enjoyable

I also hate when you have to walk THROUGH the smoking section to get to the non-smoking section! ICK!

We've had it in place
in Canada for a while now and it works great too. The only think I hate is in front of most buildings were the so called smoking pit is there are hundreds of butts. In front of our bar/coffee house there are hundreds outside in front of the door. That is hard to enforce getting the smokers to pick up their own butts. LOL as funny as that sounds.

I wish we would have that around here.
When I was working, I hated having to work in a smoking environment.
I hate going to a restraunt, asking for non-smoking, and they seat you in a both next to people smoking.
