Well, Troosha, it's certainly nice to know that everyone imagines me as such a witch.

You must have been having a "patient" moment
because I picture you as someone who could have blown her off with a single glare and a couple of sharp witted line.

I can be surprisingly patient, TAPS ...

Also, the 45 minute delay includes the time spent in Starbuck's.

Yeah, Tanga, it would have been pretty funny if Abigail was actually standing behind me the whole time, and I just happened to be (literally) caught in the middle of their conversation.

Mademoiselle, Somehow I cannot picture you standing there listening to her for 45 minutes.  LOL

Are you sure Abigail was not
hiding behind a corner!

I just felt the earlier post was underappreciated. That's all.

No, I'm still here.

You linked your double post to a post that's, like, RIGHT THERE?
Anyways. Did I missed you again tonight? Well, Abigail, I hope you are having a very good Friday morning (barely).

Thanks, Whacky!
Every now and then, they turn out okay.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 9:28 PM | link to this | reply

That was a good one!

Actually, Azur, I already fulfilled my obligation to the court over the summer.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 8:56 PM | link to this | reply

well you were doing community service
she probably knew you weren't abigail and just needed someone to talk to

posted by Azur on November 9, 2006 at 4:40 PM | link to this | reply

Yeah, Captivation, she must be, like, all senile, or something.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 3:12 PM | link to this | reply

That is Classic.
How embarassing for the woman who makes such mistakes. Particularly since she goes out in public.

You're welcome, Jazwolf ...
Btw, my English professor says I'm allowed to start sentences with "because", because my tone is so conversational.

You mean, like, in a biblical sense, A + B?

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 2:37 PM | link to this | reply

Very true, RAME.
However, I think it probably would have been awfully hard for her to actually wield a weapon, though.

Mademoiselle--- I'll bet she used to work at a nuclear reactor. By the by,
thanks soooo much for writing "all of a sudden" instead of "all of the sudden." That drives me crazy!

By the same denomination, we all are.

You really need to be careful.  You never know what weapon someone may be carrying.  There are a lot of people everywhere who aren't rowing with more than one oar.

By some old woman, ShutterCat?

I think not.

Mad. you're gonna get your ass kicked one of these days.

Who says I'm not already an heiress, A + B?

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 2:09 PM | link to this | reply

Thank you with the first 30 clicks.

posted by A-and-B on November 9, 2006 at 2:09 PM | link to this | reply

You would have been made an instant heiress if she were foolish enough to hand over her cash for "protection". Lol.

posted by A-and-B on November 9, 2006 at 1:40 PM | link to this | reply

Actually, Strat, I'm not sure it is.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 12:50 PM | link to this | reply

Yikes!
That's worse than being near the cafe at Wal Mart and having to listen to the old deaf guys yell about their prostate problems and bowel movements all morning.

For real, SuccessWarrior ... I easily could have been a goner.

posted by Mademoiselle on November 9, 2006 at 12:38 PM | link to this | reply

That was a close call

Well, AbsolutelyPositive, I did say "potentially".

Dont' you just hate it when that happens!
I don't think she was a psychopath, but she could have bored you to death.
