Re polls

I watch American elections fairly closely. I can't help but notice the fascination for 'calling' the event as early as possible - often before the voting begins.

Why not wait until the results flow through?

Ha ha ha!
Actually, Corbin, making jello is likely a little more challenging than one might think, since I've only made it ONCE in my lifetime!  At the very least, I don't have the package instructions memorized . . . .

Janes......

If you notice the most attention getting races are now narrowing.  The media runs they polls with skewed demographics to achieve an appearance of dissatisfaction with the administration.   Much like they skew the news reports.  But even the polling companies have to make a living years round....and the closer you get to election day the demographic breakdown is adjusted to more closely match the makeup of the electorate.......ther entire success as a company depends on the last couple of polls just before election day.  A good rule of thumb,  if a poll is 5 points or less the GOP is winning.....6-12 points mean the election is actually close.

We'll see on Tuesday......i love the new ads  "Vote as if your life depends on it, cause it does!"

If you’re still waiting for some motivation to go vote, here’s a few reasons:

1. Charlie Rangel promised to quit if Democrats didn’t take over Congress.

2. Justice John Paul Stevens may be retiring by year’s end.

3. Two Words: Speaker Pelosi

JanesO, You can count on the Republican majority to rally in favor of low
taxes, secure borders and security against terror.  It's all media.  The media is the fifth column of the left.
