This is an excellent post. The division is the goal of the Socialists here. We already have three parties. Republicians, Democrats and Socialists!

Corbin,

an excellent post. And I hope to have an answer for my fellow Canadian and good buddy Wiley soon, if I find a little more time. His question is extremely important, and deserves an answer.

Here is my short one for now: Musharraf is leading a Muslim country that harbours huge numbers of Islamo-fascists, and he also has the Kashmir situation to deal with! He is definitely a friend of the West, but he is walking a political tightrope. We must support him! All hell could break lose if he should fall off! And remember, Pakistan has the bomb...

Corbin,

Excellent post!

I  will miss your writing. I've written my last post for now, but hopefully one day we will meet again. All the best blessings...

That is a very informative post my friend. What I would like to know is, why are we~America and Canada~ so cozy with this guy Musharrif,(sp) when Pakistan seems so closely aligned with and responsible for harbouring fugitives and giving succor to the Taliban? I'd like to know what you think.

This is an excellent post. I don't know how this one single person can so deceive so many so easily.

Corbin, the trouble with having a sociopath for president is that all his
loyal subordinates are always covering his tracks, burying his initiatives, calling ahead and forewarning them of his tirades and cruise missiles.  It just doesn't work at all!  Lol

Nothing should surprise us...not even this. His behavior lately has been that of a man caught in bed with a married woman by a jealous husband...running...lying...all a part of his character! He's so good at it look how many believe it!

I couldn't agree with you more on this one.

Your previous comments seem to focus on me rather than my position or the articles being discussed..  I'm just one person...with an opioion, as are you.

There are a lot of Americans with my same point of view.  I'm not asking to be converted.....

When I read perposterous posts about conservatives, Republicans and this administration, I'm going to try and provide a conterweight to those posts........

Superiority?  Looking back, I realize that's how I came across........I apologize...for it was not my intent.....sometimes ya get caught up in the emotion of the moment.

It just seems to me that when you choose to only believe one side of

a story or an issue, you become kind of blind. And then we have the blind leading the blind....

Most of the political positions I take go like this:

  • Don't blindly believe everything anyone says, no matter how loud they yell it, or spit on you when they talk.
  • Don't tell me what someone else should have done, tell me what you plan to do about it.

I kind of get the feeling already that I don't want to talk politics with you Corbin Dallas, because you say things like, 'Let me try to explain it to you'....I believe statements like this are a sneaky way of making yourself seem superior to the listener. Not everything is battle, but most men seem incapable of having a civilized discussion without flinging poo. I guess I'd rather not try to explore new ideas than to be talked down to and hit with...well, you know. Peace, brother. I get enough verbal abuse from Michigan drivers, thanks.

No Way!

Your style is so refreshingly new........though you and I don't agree on some things...you even put humor into your opposing points........this is gonna be Blogits loss......

Here, tell your wife this one..........

A defense attorney was cross examining a Police Officer

during a felony trial. It went like this....

Q. Officer, did you see my client fleeing the scene?
A. No sir, but I subsequently observed a person matching the description of
the offender running several blocks away.

Q. Officer, who provided this description?
A. The officer who responded to the scene.

Q. A fellow officer provided the description of this so-called  offender.
Do you trust your fellow officers?
A. Yes sir, with my life.

Q. With your life? Let me ask you this then officer, do you have a room
where you change your clothes in preparation for your daily duties.
A. Yes sir, we do.

Q. And do you have a locker in that room?
A. Yes sir, I do.

Q. And do you have a lock on your locker?
A. Yes sir.

Q. Now why is it officer, if you trust your fellow officers with your life,
that you find it necessary to lock your locker in a room you  share with
those same officers?
A. You see sir, we share the building with the entire court complex, and
sometimes lawyers have been known to walk through that room. With that, the
courtroom erupted in laughter, and a prompt recess was requested and
granted.

And now it's time to say goodbye ...

Dear C.D.

My blogit account will be shutting down at the end of this billing cycle. Thanks for the fun but my Household Goddess (otherwise known as "She Who Must Be Obeyed") is concerned that I'm spending entirely too much time hanging with my blogit buds and buddettes. So I'm outta here. If you wanna keep up with my ravings, you may access them on my alternative blog at http://noisyvoicedofreason.blogspot.com/ .

Be well, and keep  yer power dry, Sport.

    Yer buddy,

     Mark

I'll try and explain it to you......

GW wasn't on FOX news lying his heart out.....this is in response to the Clinton breakdown with Chris Wallace........He made specific untrue claims...what, no one is allowed to point out the fallacies in those claims........is Bubba beyond question?

If you note, I even highlight remarks that  reference negatively on Critics of the Clinton years

Okay so what happened to testing against the same iron? Why do you tear
Clinton's administration apart but not turn the same scathing eye on the BA? Because you couldn't possibly make Bush look any better. He can barely read for Pete's sake. And let's face it: neither has total control of anything that goes on in this country. They have teams of people who sometimes do their bidding but sometimes block their intelligence reports from reaching them. I think we all need to start taking responsibility for the government we created. These monsters are our nightmares now. They are something we put in motion and then let rock out of control. It's all about money, control and power. Right now they have most of us where they want us. Captivated. Squabbling over trans fat and super model reality shows. What America needs is a wake up call, and it's so sad that 9/11 nor Katrina did it for us.
