Corbin, this story reminds me of an individual now working for the
same company I work for..when he was born his parents were told he'd never walk, talk, etc...so institutionalize him. To make a long story short, this young man now has 2 university degrees, has played just about every sport he could possibly play, and is now being used to open Russia's eyes to healthcare for the "disabled"...

Wow! Wow! Wow!
What a phenomenal story! Thanks for sharing. Something like this really does give perspective to some of the minor (but all consuming) complaints I make on a daily basis.

I think it's easy to fall into the "Oh poor me" syndrome. We just have to be strong during rough times. I like it when you write about things like this. Actually I like you no matter what you write about!!

Dallas, Good Post, reminds you of a book I read in High School
A Father, A Son and A Three Mile Run -- It was about a Father who helped his mentally challenged son to run a marathon race -- Love can conquer all!
