I saw that yesterday!!!  In, of all places, a help-wanted ad for a WRITER!  In fact, the ad was full of grammatical errors!  But they didn't want an editor--just someone to write for them.

Oh I couldn't agree with you more!  That, too, is one of the many things that irritate me!

Mademoiselle
I guess I used the word "idiot" because it was a lot nicer than the other word I used when I originally wrote this post! hehe

Shoot, lately I see people writing who put an apostrophe after any word
to make it plural. Plane's, Train's and Automobile's-style. It makes me want to wring there neck's!! JUST kidding!! Have a better day!

One of my "pet peeves"
When it comes to using the correct spelling of pair of words which sound alike, I have a pet peeve. I notice that some writers use the spelling "it's" when they mean "its." There are distinct differences in the way this word/these words are to be used, and when a writer uses the word "it's" when he really means to write "its," I get annoyed and wonder if the writer in question really "knows his stuff."

Is there such a thing as an idiot who isn't ignorant?

Otherwise, I agree with your list ... plus would add roughly 10,000 additional annoyances.
