Azur
With a three year old, doing as little as possible is likely to be exhausting. We just baby-sit a 15 month old on Monday and Friday and it takes us the Tuesday and Saturday to recover. Take care, Azur.

I don't know either JohnMcnab particularly when it's only me
with a three-year-old at the moment. I have now moved on to a far more difficult story and one I can't afford to make mistakes with - not that I do that often - because I am conscientious even if it kills me. I am going to finish late Thursday and try to do as little as possible until the boys return one week later

I don't know how you do what you do, Azur, especially when you are still recuperating. Fatigue, burnout, exhaustion, sound like the correct adjectives. Please take it easy.

Very good, Azur. Always blaming writer's block is much akin to saying "The Devil made me do it." LOL

You didn't alter direct quotes though, did you?
I've always wondered how sportswriters handle that delicate issue when covering non-english speaking athletes (such as Allen Iverson).

AZUR, at last! Writers produce writing; "Blockheads" produce blocks
It's not like breathing, or a machine that supposed to go on and on....humans tire easily, and then they do somehting else. I agree with you; if yopu call yourself a writer, you will produce. If you can't then change your job description, appelation, or title. Perhaps it's more like congestion when involuntary breathing is hampered; with writers, this may need a check below the belt. Constipation perhaps? Thnx AZUR
