Right you are, DamonL. Nothing shows the arrogance of the United States
more profoundly than that reflected in the titles of our championships. Oh, and constantly referring to the U.S. as the 'greatest nation on earth' or 'that the world has ever seen'.

Yes at least it does stretch across the world
The U.S should have performed better after going into the tournament ranked 5th in the world

We Did...
...laugh over here a couple of World Cups back, when the US were trying to get some of the rules changed - and make the goals wider!
That idea came to naught, needless to say.
Still, at least the World Cup does involve the...errr...World! As opposed to the World Series, which doesn't!!
