Corbin, thanks for the attention. to my concerns. The party that
Coalesced around W. Is at odds over the immigration issue. Simple comprehensive legislation passed this summer allowing the wall, the worker exchange program and a roadmap to citizenship will make the bad feelings go away. But hearing you guys promoting a counter-revolution to oppose a Mexican invasion is extreme and unhelpful.
An invasion is generally thought to be armed, and branding hard-working people felons is extremely unhelpful.

Now that the issue is in the forefront,
they are demanding that illegals be branded.....
Sounds like you're taking up the slack for Blogflogger......why do you make such an outlandish statement.......were you ever really a Republican...or did you just come along for the ride on the war on terror and now that the road gets a bit bumpy, you're ready to abandon ship, and worse, become what you were supposedly were against?
I don't know what news you are reading....well, actually, it's a bit obvious....but every special election, or concluded Primary race, simple does not uphold your claims........
It is 98% impossible for us to lose the Senate.......and it's a long way form November. In 2002, the "Drive By" media was showing 14-18 point advantage for the DEMS in Congress, based on generic polls....but Congressional races are local issue oriented.....and for the first time in modern history the Party holding the Presidency gained in both houses.
The key here is that the DEMs rating in Congress is as bad or worse in those same polls......but on the face to face questions...but the issues questions.......they don't hold that advantage....
The 98% incumbency reelection rate and the only seats the GOP has retiring this year are in solid GOP districts are factors that work for the GOP........the DEMS haven't been able to come up with an Agenda that each of their loony left factions can support.......so they have NO MESSAGE.
Somewhere, some Christian Right activist must have pissed in your Wheaties....but the rants regarding their level of influence in the party .....just don't hold water. Bringing up Falwell or Swaggert is passe'...old news......and certainly doesn't strengthen the credibility of your remarks.......
