Kingmi I think Irans involvement is not going to be good for a
positive outcome. Someone on TV the other day said they called for a hotel reservation at one of the large hotels in Iraq the person on the desk was speaking Persian, the language of Iran. Don't know if it true but interesting.

Scoop, No doubt, have you seen the footage of the open border between Iran
on CURRENT TV? Gonna have to seal that!

No it is not a civil war but if it goes unchecked and spreads who knows?
I heard someone the other day say that in the north the Kurds are in control with very few problems and really want their own deal to themselves. In the south they say militias are in charge, some corruption within the police, and there again very few problems but in around Bahgdad that is where the Sunnis and Shiites are having continuing daily violence. The one reason they say that US casualties are down is because the troops have been pulled back and don't patrol as much.

I agree with Krauthammer ...
I always liked him anyway.
He's the really strange-looking guy on "Special Report with Britt Hume", right? (Well, besides Britt Hume himself.)
Also, I believe Krauthammer is the one who (essentially) devised Bush's face saving "Harriet Myers exit strategy".

It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought? ... it figures

Kingmi, it is not a civil war yet, and may never become, but it is
another Viet Nam, and we should have been smart enough to avoid such!
