6 is a wonderful number, especially when next to 9, but that's a whole different ....ummm...

Anyway, I was just babbling about the importance of numbers, the religious significance and the order of things.

I almost always guess 6.  (And, when I don't, I go with 9.)

Meanwhile, it's awfully difficult to rank #1 any lower than 2nd.

I agree about the number 7 being #1, but I think 3 is #2
and I don't much care about the rest of them.  If I ever ask you to pick a number from one to 10, it's 7 or 3.  Luckily, I work with young people and they never catch on to that fact.

Actually, I consider this THE definitive list.
In fact, I'm putting together a petition to officially change the numerical order ... just as soon as I figure out who to send it to.  I'm thinking either the President or the Pope.

I love 27, too, Billy ...

as well as, numbers 20, 22, 23, 24, 26 & 29.  (I could do without 25 & 28.)

Of course, none of those were applicable here.

6 is a wonderful number, and should be judged solely on it's own merits.  It must not be penalized simply for being positioned next to an even greater number.

Why is number 7 the #1 choice? Could there be some kind of religious (Christian) significance there? Oh, I suppose I can see that, but in relation wouldn't that make number 6 the least on the list?

I'm interested in knowing
How this list was determined. It would seem an individual thing, like colors, we each have our favorites for one reason or another. People who are the middle of the road may like 5 for instance. This post got me thinking though.
