Hey, kingmi. Good post. I lived in Richmond for 18 years before I moved
to Atlanta last year. Both guys were decent governors. And you could see that both political parties were eyeing them for grooming for possible bids for the presidency while they were governors. Allen is a bit more conservative, but not so much that you need to lend him an axe to get out of the woods. But, and this is not based on anything political, I would have to vote for George Allen if it came down to the two of them. There is something inexplicably likeable about Allen, whereas Warner comes off as a bit wooden. Both men are hands-down far more presidential-esque than Dubya. But then, hell, Elmer Fudd is more presidential, speech impediment and all.
