Kingmi,
Well, your student may not know "corruptness" from corruption, but she sure knew it existed! As for the Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff's money scandal not comparing to Watergate and Irangate, those were Republican scandals (Nixon-Watergate; Reagan-Iran), so you're comparing apples to kumquats.
Abramoff+Watergate+Irangate=Republican corruption. Dem's have a very good chance. The whole country's getting fed up.

scoop, I think the right would accept Rudy as a VP choice. And after
the job description re-write Dick Cheney has done, he may just accept the nod.

The Dem's still don't believe they lost the last election!!..so, how they think should not be such a shock to us eh? Quite frankly, there is no real Democratic party left...I don't know what these people want to call themselves, but it is not the Democratic party of their fathers. It maybe a learning disability all right...

I just read in my latest Newsmax Edition
about the possibility of Senator George Allen being an excellent candidate for Pres. I was not aware of him until then but he sounds like an excellent choice. Any thoughts?

Just the demographics of the races favor the GOP...
And remember 98% of incumbants win re-election......
In the House the election boils down to 20 or so seats......
The Senates is reasonably solid for 2006....If we are having problems with Iran.....the GO P will gain in both house.....again.
You are right 2008 will be rougher.....but if Condi is somewhere on the ticket.....It's gonna be 4 More Years!
