You're welcome, Digity
I got a warm fuzzy feeling writing it.

I sent a copy to Mike, my brother.  He loved it.  He even said he'd show it to his friends (!)

God bless.

Wooah!
Ahh! That felt good! I really enjoyed the visuals that came with the pink box. That was great! I could see everything icluding the walk there and back again. Made me smile. Thanks to you for that one!

kingmi,
Those were the best times of my life.  I wish every kid could have a wonderful childhood.

Myddrin,
You're just as blessed to have your sister.  I have no sister and I always wanted one.

I used to wish Mike was a sister.  When I was a kid, I thought maybe we wouldn't fight as much if he was a girl, but I think I was wrong.  Mom said she fought with her sister, my Aunt Ruth, a lot, so it probably doesn't make any difference.

God bless you.

Songbird,

Wonderful story. I had a sister, 10 years older, but mentally challenged so there never was a strong bond between us. Still I understood and loved her. You are blessed indeed. Shadow

Tiel,
I did send it to Mike.  I couldn't resist.  I bet he'll laugh until he's sore.  He's not read it yet or he would have e-mailed back.

We were really awful kids, but boy, what fun...

Song

So THAT'S what happened to the door!  Signed, your Mother.

Seriously, this is such a lovely story of you and your brother.  Very touching and it tickled me, too.  Send him a copy of your blog entry, why don't you?  He'll feel your love and appreciation and he'll be warmed by the memories.
