You are a wonderful mother.  Never forget that.  We come in all shapes, sizes, and packgages, but those of us that love our children enough to do what is best for them are the best that God has to offer.  You missed a tooth falling out?  I ignored my daughter yesterday when she tried to read me a sentence she wrote (she's in kindergarten) in school because I was too busy being the "perfect" mom to take one lousy minute to listen to her.  Her look of disappointment let me know that I had goofed.  My point?  No matter how hard we try, we will miss something.  It's inevitable.  And years from now, when your son is older and wiser, the last thing on his mind will be that Mommy wasn't there to catch his tooth as it fell out or to see his first step.  He won't remember.  What he will remember, though, (or they will remember) is that you never missed on single minute to love them--and you never missed an opportunity to show it through your hard work, endless devotion, and constant worrying.

Now back to the stove.  I believe you have a pot that needs attending...

Good luck.
