Be careful, Spitfire. There's a border between Virginia and West Virginia
that can be a little testy (because people west of that border are more backward in some eyes). My father is from Tazewell, Virginia and grew up outside Beckley, West Virginia. My mother was born in West Virginia. A lot of West Virginians don't care for the WV jokes, but I love 'em, think they're funny as hell, tell them to anyone who'll listen and wants a good laugh, and if someone believes that ignorant crapola, well... there you have it. I'd rather laugh than get all pissed about perspective. By the way, my favorite WV joke goes as follows:
How do you get 400 cows into a barn in West Virginia?
Paint BINGO! on the side. LOL!!

Saul R, I've gotta tell my stepmom about this one!
(She's from Virginia) and we always make fun of a couple of word pronounciations!
