Hey MW....sorry I don't comment more...
I had to say congratulations. I'm so happy for you and Carl. You wrote something here I remember writing, too, when my boy (now ex) came home from Iraq....finally in the same time zone again...isn't it funny how something that simple can be so comforting? Not just that he's out of harm's way and on the same big piece of land in the ocean, but the same time zone. Happy reunion to you, and I'm sorry you have to do the family thing. I'm sure he'd rather just go HOME to quiet and you, but soon enough you'll be yelling at him to get his socks off the floor and telling him you can't hear through the wall. That stuff even feels good when you have to be away from each other for so long. I can't believe the whole unit made it home....so blessed. What a Merry Christmas for your town, indeed.
