I think this new law is a bit much. Why would this woman stay with a man for over 20 years if he has been allegedly "raping" her?? Why didn't the eavesdropping (or "over-hearing"...yeah, right) neighbors confront her in private when the Mr. wasn't around? I find situations such as this a bit over the top. If someone "raped" me ONCE, husband or boyfriend or not, he would never have a second chance to repeat the behavior.

Secondly, not to get too personal but I must say that don't many (especially spouses) engaging in sexual intercourse sometimes say certain things during sex to, well, how do I say, "talk dirty"? I can say there have been times during sexual encounters with certain people, this came to play. (no pun intended!) But, come on, after being with the same person for a long period of time, most couples look for ways to put the excitement back into it and for new ideas, role playing, toys, etc. Therefore, I find this new law over the top. What if the man (or woman) asks a question during sex, like, "Do you want me to stop?" and the answer is "No" IS THAT RAPE?  Give me a break.

   Thanks for the interesting post.
