I can't write with a whole bunch of noise going on, either.

I've learnt that the trick is to get as much in as possible.

Original,
I particularily do not like the "hover" method. Small children have been reduced to ashes while participating in this game.  red

I'm the same way, especially at work

I always have the TV on while I'm writing. Sometimes my son hangs over my neck, sometimes not. But I admit, Its better to write with no interruptions!

My house was so quiet growing up...
I don't even know how I'd deal with a real family, like kids and all that.  But, it's gets a little too quiet around here.  My friend has five kids, all under 12 (the youngest under a year) and when I talk to him I want to pull my hair out.  But, he loves it, he's so happy.  Maybe I have it all wrong....

Whew!
Can I breath now? Don't you just hate it when the tv commercials come on twice as loud as the show?
