Two more funerals in this month of March...so much for the coming of spring
How sad to have so many sad events scrunched in one tiny little month. Barely over the shock of one unexpected death, only to be faced with two more. The sadness of one permeates those that follow compounding the pain to an almost unbearable level. Each journey brings one to the continuing...

Life better stop throwing me curve balls, because I have
enough trouble hitting the straight ones! Okay, so maybe the curve balls are better than the straight ones and maybe they aren't, but man I have had so much bad news today that yesterday is starting to pale in comparison. I took my youngest daughter in for a follow up with the oral surgeon and on...

Did you know that everyone reacts differently to anesthesia?
I guess it depends on a whole slew of variables such as which kind, what other medications are involved, the health of the individual, etc. This morning, my daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. She woke up crying. Not just minor sniffling, like you know, poor me, I hurt and I want some attention."...

Home for spring break only to see the oral surgeon!
Poor thing, she had hoped to visit her friend's grandmothers's home for the week with a bunch of friends, but those teeth that the dentist said would not be troublesome for a while, are indeed troublesome. SO it is off to the oral surgeon for a consult on Monday and then to surgery on Tuesday....

Freelance opportunities can snowball if you don't watch out!
I hit a slow spell after my daughter's wedding so I queried quite a few leads....and now I find that I am swamped with more work than I can reasonably get done!
