Agree to Disagree
I have to agree that those in the fight against this administration at the moment seem to be from his own cherished base. I'm so disappointed that as a country we paid $60 million to find out the cause of the stain on Monica's dress, yet only $723,000 to investigate whether the American's were lied to. It would seem as a nation our priorities are misguided. But I'd say they are getting a fair trial in all of this...What DeLay after indicted on serious crimes can still request the judge be dismissed because he's donated to democratic causes, and get his wish...Where else can THAT happen. Not a Bush fan, although some in my family are...I'd say either he will go down as a great president or the other side of the coin could be that Ignorance truly is Bliss.

I Think...
...the harping and gloating will stop, as it happens.
It'll stop when America finally finds the wisdom to realise that the biggest enemy are the robber barons in within the White House and not the Muslims in Saudi Arabia (where 17 of the 9/11 bombers came from, incidentally, and which is still a big US ally and arms buyer).
It'll stop when America finds the strength and resolve to purge herself of the greedy, the corrupt, the criminal, the fuck-you-and-your-environment attitudes, the man who takes a massive payoff from a company and then awards that company no-bid contracts in a theatre of conflict the said man helped create.
It'll stop when the majority of Americans finally realise that their daily diet of newspapers and TV is not, as they believe, a healthy, balanced diet designed to provoke lively debate and an informed world view; in fact, it is a diet of manufactured shite designed to keep the majority cowering in fear, brought on by a fake colour-coded system telling everyone how afraid to be today. It's designed to be swallowed whole, with little due consideration, with few questions asked, and it is designed to create a world view that suits the personal agenas of our so-called 'leaders'.
As soon as most Americans wake up to these uncomfortable realities and find the strength and resolve to actually make a positive change in their nation, their government, and in themselves, THEN the gloating will stop, and respect will once again take over.
Until then, America is truly fucked.

Don't you know it's always this way...that is one thing we can say about such people, always flappin their jaws...
You must also remember it is this jaw flappin which has caused the demise of the Democratic party!
As you know Clinton should have been impeached, will Bush? No, and hell no! Let the big mouths keep flappin...it has always been one public service they provide for us cause everyone gets really sick of it!!

fwmystic is right, the conservativesdestroyed Miers
and Fitzgerald was picked to head the case when Ashcroft bailed out, and he is an independent. Now if he was going after Democrats the Repubs would say
He is the Man! And if Libby is innocent why did he pack it in, why not fight and let a jury decide, resigning is weak and tells me he is guilty.
