I wish I knew more about her. From the surface she seems extremely intelligent. I hope she makes it thru the confirmation. As far as going head to head with another judge, she did become the head of the Texas Bar Association. That in itself says something of her strengths in a "good old boy" environment!

C-Span recently aired a press conference held by the Texas Bar Association with both Democrat and Republic attorneys there to speak and answer questions. They all had worked with her and all praised her very highly. They spoke in detail of her extensive list of accomplishments, her work ethic, fairness, and much more. I hope that she is confirmed.
