maj, my grandmother used to drag us outside saying, "Look at the sunset,
look at the sunset," when we were kids here in Tucson, she lived in our backyard. We built her a mother-in-law house there.
Now, I pass her habits and words on to my grandchilren, who never step outside to notice these things, being "moderne" youth of the years 2000. I take them up on my roof, so that they will really stop and look. I sure do hope that they drag either their children or grandchildren up on their roof someday.

We usd to watch the sunsets in the desert when I was a kid.
Of course, the TV out there sucked...
I never tire of watching the sky.

maj, mcbreeze and MayB, isn't it just the best? I thought that Tucson had
magnificent and splendiferous sunsets, but this 'wild Mexican senorita' photo makes ours look like 'church ladies'. This earth amazes me and we think that t.v. is worth watching.....time to take the shoes off and hit that beach.
