I've never seen Butterfield8, though I've heard of it...  On your recommendation, I will look it up one of these days...

Being partial to costume and frippery, as much as to spectacular effects,  and also appreciating a clever script well-delivered, one of my favorite movies of all time (so far) is the 70s version of The Three Musketeers. The casting was perfect, in my opinion from the top of the marquee to the least bit players. Richard Donner was the director, I believe...

The Lion In Winter also came up the other day, in a chat with Roofpig.

Once again,
I'll probably be seeing this on video. Sadly until the kids are older I only get to see one or two movies a year in the theatre... maybe this should be on my must see list. :)

Okay, this sounds like too much fun to miss... I hope it turns out to be
 that good!  When Speilberg directs, he does not generally disappoint me.  I'm pretty tired of being let down by films in which all the good stuff was shown in the trailers...
