- Go to FORGET THIS "JESUS IS COMING SOON" STUFF WILL YOU?
Empty, I do understand what you are talking about, but I know
he is coming and we have signs which are happening now. We don't know the hour or the day; however we do know the general time. When certain things have happened, they are happening. Unless we live all the time as if it could be any moment we will miss the initial rapture. I do not want to miss that. What if I am wrong... No problem! I will have been as good a person as I know how and nothing happened, not bad. If I am right it will incredibly good for those who are expecting it. My only regret is that the last seven years before Jesus actually returns to Earth for the end will be horrible for those who did not go out of the tribulation. That makes me sad. This is only my belief I do not think anyone else is erronuous if they don't agree with me.

Reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw
Jesus is coming. Look busy!

I'm not worried about Him coming
Because...I'm ready to go! You're right, why don't we live each day with love and respect regarding our fellowman. Do you think we don't always do that because we're just not perfect and never will be. Sure am glad He is. We need to all try a little harder even though we will never, ever be perfect.

"Act like this moment is all you have/which it is." Act greedily, or act generously? Act angrily, or act kindly? Act boastfully, or act humbly? Act cowardly, or act courageously? Act foolishly, or act wisely? Act in the name of the God that created you, or act according to your own agendas?

Hey, thanks for the visit on my YHT blog.
Have you seen "Johnny English"? Your topic fits the great line in there to the Archbishop of Canterbury: "Do you or do you not have tattooed across your bottom, 'Jesus is coming, look busy'?" Rowan Atkinson is very funny. Cheers!

Painter -
If we all lived, like you say, as though Jesus were coming, then maybe he wouldn't need to come.

I know, my lovely
only thing is
too many people get their hopes pinned on this -- and
either get pretty disappointed
or don't treat the present as important
it will come when it comes and not before.

It is the blessed hope, my friend...so some of us DO think it's important.
That's why I'm an ADVENTist...we believe in the second advent, or coming of Christ, and that's not something I would stop talking about for anyone, not even you, sweetheart.
